(800) 854-9813Republic Services Alderson Regional Landfill is the local landfill outside Alderson that handles household and commercial loads. Neighbors and haulers both use it when trash needs to be buried rather than recycled or hauled elsewhere.
There’s a scale at the entrance-loads are charged by weight, so vehicles usually stop on the way in and again on the way out. Pull up to the small booth to check in, then follow the lane to the active tipping area where large mounds and heavy equipment are visible. The site is large and open, with compactors and earth-moving machines working; expect gravel drives and some dust in dry weather. Commercial trucks are accepted and tend to use the main apron while smaller residential vehicles are directed to side areas.
