Porter Landfill

Porter Landfill, 19960 S. 381st E. Avenue, Porter, 74454, Oklahoma

Porter Landfill is the local place where loads get buried - used by homeowners with big cleanups and by haulers with trailers. It sits out on S. 381st E. and looks like a working site rather than a park. Folks drop off anything that won't fit in a curbside bin.

There’s a scale and an entrance booth near the road; vehicles stop to be weighed, so expect to roll back through the scale when leaving. The site is large with dirt/gravel roads, piles of compacted material and heavy equipment moving around. Drivers are directed from the booth to the active dumping area where loads are tipped and covered over. Tipping fees are typically structured by weight with minimums and per-ton charges common, and commercial loads are usually handled on the same scale as residential ones.

Before You Go

  • Secure loose trash and tarp loads before hauling to keep debris off the road and speed up unloading.
  • Bring gloves, a shovel or rake and a pickup liner if possible - makes dumping and cleaning the truck bed much faster.
  • Avoid busy weekend mornings if possible; split recyclables and bulky items before getting to the gate so the visit goes quicker.
