Creek County Landfill

10250 S 33rd W Ave, Jenks, OK 74037

(918) 299-3755

Creek County Landfill is the big municipal landfill near Sapulpa that handles household junk and commercial hauls from around the area. Locals and haulers use it when regular curbside pickup won’t cut it, and it handles large volumes - this is where stuff gets buried and moved through by weight.

Drive up to a small entrance booth and be prepared to stop at a scale; tipping fees are charged by weight so vehicles are weighed in and out. After the scale there’s a pull-up area where trucks and trailers back up to the active cell or tipping pad; the site itself is expansive, with dirt roads, compacted soil faces and heavy equipment working. Expect to wait on busy weekends or right after storms when tornado debris gets brought in, and follow the flow of traffic the attendants direct.

Before You Go

  • Secure tarps and straps before leaving home so loading and unloading are quicker and safer at the tip area.
  • Have an idea of whether the load is residential or commercial - commercial loads are accepted but will be handled and weighed like any other larger haul.
  • Allow extra time on weekends and after severe weather; lines and heavier equipment movements make the process slower than a quick drop-off.
