(918) 338-4131This is the City of Bartlesville Recycling Center, the municipal spot where locals drop off curbside recyclables and a few extras that don’t fit in the bin. Neighbors from town and nearby rural areas bring cardboard, paper, plastics, metal cans and glass here to keep stuff out of the landfill. It’s the practical place people think of when cleaning out garages or after small neighborhood cleanups.
Drive up to the entrance and you’ll see a small gatehouse/booth that controls traffic into the lot. Pull forward into the open yard where rowed recycling containers and sorting areas sit-bins tend to be grouped by material and are easy to spot. There’s a scale and traffic flow for larger loads, so be prepared to stop and move slowly through the site. Staff or attendants are usually nearby to direct vehicles during busy times and there’s a plain, working feel to the place rather than anything flashy.
