Center Point Landfill is the rural landfill just off South 3570 Road outside Prague, used by homeowners, contractors and local haulers to get rid of trash that gets buried. It looks like a working site - a small scale house by the gate, dirt mounds, and gravel roads leading through the property.
There’s typically a scale at the entrance, so this kind of place charges by weight and you should expect to be weighed in and then again on the way out. Many landfills have a tipping-fee structure that charges different rates for residential versus commercial loads, so commercial haulers usually pay higher fees. Pull up to the booth at the gate and wait to be directed; trucks and trailers queue up on gravel, and the dumping area is an open working face with heavy equipment moving dirt. Driving around the site is slow going after rain, so watch for ruts and loose material on the access roads.
