Williams County Landfill Inc is the large landfill just outside Bryan that handles final disposal of solid waste for the area. Locals and haulers both use it - expect commercial trucks as well as smaller municipal or residential drop-offs.
There’s a drive-in gate and a scale common to landfills, so plan for a short stop to be weighed; most people get weighed entering and again leaving. The facility sits on a wide, open site with compacted dirt and gravel roads, berms and visible capped cells in the distance. Pull up to the scale house or booth at the entrance, then follow the flow to the working face for unloading. Traffic builds on weekends and during spring cleanups, so lines are possible at busy times.
