Waste Management - Suburban Landfill

3415 Township Rd N #447, Glenford, OH 43739

(866) 909-4458

A working landfill on the outskirts of McClure that sees a mix of local homeowners and commercial haulers. It’s the kind of place people go when they’ve got a truckload that needs burying rather than recycling or drop-off at a transfer station. Expect a large, open site with heavy equipment and steady truck traffic.

Drive up to an entrance booth and pull into a lane to be directed; somewhere past that there’s usually a scale so loads are measured by weight and tipping fees are charged accordingly. The site is mostly gravel and dirt roads with big piles of compacted material, bulldozers, and semi-trailers coming and going. Drop-off points are obvious once past the booth, but be ready to back into a pit or follow a spotter’s directions. Weekends and spring cleanup times tend to be the busiest, so lines at the scale and entrance booth are common.

Before You Go

  • Secure loads with a tarp so nothing blows off while sitting in line or driving through the site.
  • Have someone to help guide when backing into drop-off spots - visibility around heavy equipment can be limited.
  • Leave room on the truck for any unexpected detours within the site and be prepared to stop at the scale twice (in and out) since fees are weight-based.
