(866) 909-4458Waste Management - Gallia County Landfill in Bidwell is the local private landfill where residential and commercial loads end up buried. It's the large, fenced site off Roush Hollow Road that truck drivers and neighbors use when curbside pickup won't do.
Drive up the lane to a concrete scale and expect to stop for a weigh-in and then again on the way out since tipping fees are charged by weight. There’s a small gate/booth area for check-in before being directed where to dump; big roll-off trucks and pickups both maneuver through the same access roads. The landfill stretches out with working faces and covered earth - not a tidy transfer station - so expect dust, gravel, and heavy equipment moving about. Weekends and spring cleanup times commonly have lines, so allow extra time if hauling bulky loads.
