(419) 436-0505Sunny Farms Landfill in Fostoria is the local burial site for municipal and commercial trash run by Tunnel Hill Partners. Small haulers, contractors and residents bring loads here when other drop-off options aren’t suitable. The site handles large-scale disposal and is the endpoint where garbage gets buried rather than recycled or processed.
On approach there’s a single entrance with an attendant booth and a drive-over scale; trucks stop on the scale and are weighed, so be prepared to wait for the outbound weigh if there’s a line. The tipping area is large and open with compacted earth and visible daily cover on active cells; larger commercial loads are common and maneuvering space is generous. Expect to pull up, unstrap or untarp, tip in a marked cell, then return to the scale; residential drop-offs run through the same process as commercial vehicles. The overall site looks industrial - heavy equipment, berms of cover soil, and stockpiles - not landscaped or retail-friendly.
