(419) 636-5109Republic Services Williams County Landfill is the big Republic landfill out by Bryan that handles final burial of municipal and commercial garbage. Locals and haulers both use it; trucks come in for bulk loads and residents bring trailers or pickup loads for disposal. The site sits off Williams County G and is clearly a working landfill rather than a drop-off center.
There’s a scale house where vehicles stop for weighing, so plan on stopping twice - once in and once out - because tipping fees are typically charged by weight. Drive slowly on the access road and follow the traffic flow; there are lanes and working faces where loads are tipped and covered. The site is large with bermed cells and compacted slopes, and commercial loads are accepted since this is a private Republic Services operation. Expect heavy equipment moving around and a rough, dusty surface rather than a paved, tidy lot.
