Preble County Sanitary Landfill is the county landfill just south of Eaton on US-127, where household and larger truck loads end up buried. Locals and commercial haulers both use the place; it's a working landfill with big earth mounds and open tipping areas.
The entrance has a booth and a scale-plan on being weighed so the load is charged by weight or per load. Drive slowly past the booth, follow the paved/dirt road to the tipping area, unload where staff direct, then cross the scale again on the way out. The site looks industrial: large cells, compacted areas, and gravel roads that can get dusty or muddy depending on weather. Weekends and spring cleanup times tend to be busier, so allow extra time if hauling a truck or trailer.
