(419) 299-3638Hancock County Solid Waste Management in Findlay is the county solid waste drop-off most locals use for household trash, recycling and yard debris. People from around the area bring small to medium loads here rather than hauling things to a private transfer station. Expect a practical, working site rather than anything fancy.
Drive in off County Road 140 and there’s a small entrance booth where vehicles pause before proceeding. A scale and some large open bays with piles and roll-offs are visible from the drive; trucks come and go. Recycling containers are set off to the side past the entrance area, with yard material and general trash held in separate sections. Weekends, especially during spring and fall cleanups, tend to have the longest lines.
