(937) 382-6177Clinton County Solid Waste Management District is the local solid waste facility people from Wilmington and nearby parts of the county use for household trash, recycling, and yard debris. It’s the county-run site on E. Sugartree Street where residents drop off routine loads and seasonal cleanups.
Expect a small entrance booth and a scale area where vehicles pause before heading in. The site looks like a typical county yard with concrete bunkers and large open bays for different materials, and recycling containers set off to one side. Pull straight in from the road and follow the obvious traffic flow toward the unloading areas; larger trucks might need room to maneuver. Weekends and spring cleanup days get busy, so lines can form out onto the driveway.
Learn how to properly dispose of common items.
