Small, no-frills recycling center used by Canton residents and folks from nearby townships. It’s the kind of place people drop off boxes of paper, glass jars, plastic bottles and scrap metal when the curbside bin won’t take it all. Expect a neighborhood feel rather than a shiny corporate operation.
Drive up to the entrance off Schroyer Ave and look for a small entry booth and a pair of large outdoor bins and containers. Vehicles usually pull up, unload by the bins on the right, then swing back past the scale near the exit to check out. The site is mostly open pavement with clear piles of sorted materials and a few sheltered areas; it’s not fancy but it gets the job done. Ohio rules mean some items are handled differently, so items like electronics or bulky metal may have separate procedures compared with paper and bottles.
