Common materials accepted at centers like this include paper and cardboard, glass bottles, plastics and metal cans, and many North Carolina centers also have special programs for electronics or hazardous items because the state has rules about those materials. Weekends and spring cleanup times often bring extra traffic, so there can be lines.
