Drive up to a small booth at the entrance where commercial vehicles are processed and directed onto the site. There’s a scale for trucks to be weighed, so expect to stop twice if bringing a load. The site is a working landfill-dirt roads, piles, and heavy equipment are visible from most spots. Recycling or special streams aren’t obvious from the road, and North Carolina has separate rules for electronics and hazardous materials, so treat those as separate items.
