(800) 676-9696A no-frills transfer station off Turning Leaf Highway that locals use when they don't want to drive all the way to a landfill. Mostly residential pickups and small trailers show up here to drop off compacted loads that get trucked out of county. Good for quick trips if only a few bags or a small load needs dropping.
Drive up a short access road to an entrance booth and be ready to pull up to a scale; vehicles are usually weighed so expect to stop again on the way out. The lot is industrial - big concrete pads, roll-off containers and a few compactors, with piles where trucks back in to empty. Recycling and drop-off points tend to be clustered to one side of the property, while the active tipping area is more open and gritty. Weekends and spring cleanup season get the longest lines, so plan accordingly.
