(910) 371-9471A small transfer station used by Leland and nearby Belville residents for dropping off household trash and small loads. Drive up to a manned entrance booth and be prepared to pull forward onto a scale; many transfer stations charge by weight, so there’s usually a second stop on the way out. The facility looks industrial - concrete ramps, large metal compactors and roll-off areas where trucks back up to empty. Recycling containers or drop-off bins are often set off to the side past the booth. Weekends and spring cleanup times can get busy, with a line of pickups and small trailers waiting their turn.
