Seneca Meadows SWMF on Salcman Road is the big landfill people around Waterloo use for disposing larger household and municipal loads. Located at 1786 Salcman Road, it’s out past town and easy to spot once on that stretch of road. Locals bring trailers, pickup loads, or municipal carts here rather than taking smaller stuff to transfer stations downstate.
There’s typically an entrance booth and a scale near the driveway, so plan to stop and wait your turn to pull up. After weighing, vehicles move out to the tipping area where trucks and loaders work the piles; expect heavy equipment and open cells visible from the access roads. Wind, dust, and the occasional smell are normal-clothing and hair can pick up grit on breezy days. On the way back, vehicles usually re-cross the scale and exit the same way they came in.
