This is the small recycling dropoff on Lenox Road that locals use when there's too much cardboard or bulk bottles for curbside. Neighbors, DIYers, and people cleaning out garages swing by to unload paper, cardboard, bottles, cans, metals and often electronics and other recyclables that county centers accept. It's a town-scale recycling center serving Keyport and surrounding parts of Monmouth County.
Drive up to a single entrance where a small attendant booth and a weigh scale are visible; expect to pull up, talk to someone at the booth, then proceed to the sorting area. The bins and roll-offs are clustered to the right past the booth, with cardboard breaks and glass/plastic/metal containers nearby. Vehicles are usually directed to specific drop spots, so stay in your car until it’s clear where to unload. Weekends and spring-cleaning weeks get noticeably backed up, so there can be a line to get in.
