Lipari Landfill on Mullica Hill Rd is the local landfill where residential and commercial loads end up being buried. Neighbors, landscapers, and hauling trucks all use it when they need to get rid of big piles that won’t fit in curbside bins. Expect busier traffic on weekends and during spring cleanup season.
You'll cross a scale on the way in - landfills charge by weight, so plan to stop again on the way out. There’s a small entrance booth and a one-way drive that leads to the active tipping area; pull up to the working face, unload, then drive back over the scale. The site is large, with mounded cells, gravel roads and constant truck activity; dusty on dry days and muddy after rain. Lines form at peak times, so allow a little extra time if bringing a full load.
