(702) 735-5151Republic Services Dump & Transfer Station on Trimble Street is the local transfer station in Nashville used by residents and small haulers who don’t want to drive out to a distant landfill. It’s the kind of place people swing by with pickup loads or trailer drops rather than hauling everything all the way out of town.
Drive up the access road toward the entrance booth and be prepared to stop for a scale; these stations typically charge by weight so there’s usually a weigh-in and weigh-out. The yard is mostly concrete with large compactors and roll-off containers, and commercial trucks move in and out while smaller vehicles pull up to the tipping area. Recycling or drop-off bins are often grouped off to one side past the booth, and there’s usually a clear traffic flow so slower vehicles should watch for backing trucks. Weekends and spring cleanup times can be noticeably busier, with lines forming to get to the scale or tipping area.
