Transfer Station

Refuse, Inc - Incline Transfer Station

1076 Tahoe Boulevard, Incline Village, NV 89450

800-963-4776

Small transfer station on Tahoe Boulevard that most Incline Village residents use when hauling a carload to the dump feels like too far. It’s the place where local pickup trucks and trailers pull in, drop off, and head back down the mountain rather than driving all the way to a distant landfill.

There’s an entrance booth and a scale area; typically vehicles stop at the booth first and then cross the scale so loads can be weighed. The yard is compact: piles and compactors are visible from the drop-off lanes and there’s usually a clear flow for cars versus larger trucks. Recycling receptacles tend to sit off to one side just past the booth, and weekends - especially during spring cleanup - can have a line that snakes out toward the road.

Before You Go

  • Bring straps or tarps for loose items so things don’t blow out of the truck on the way in or while waiting in line.
  • Have different types of material separated and ready on the tailgate so unloading goes faster once at the drop-off point.
  • Expect slower service on weekend mornings and holidays - plan to avoid peak hours if a quick turnaround is important.
