(702) 280-0069Laughlin Landfill is the town's main burial site for garbage and large clean-up loads, used by homeowners, landscapers, and local haulers. Located just south of Highway 163 on Needles Highway, it handles the kind of heavy, regular traffic a desert-area landfill gets.
There’s a scale and entrance booth where vehicles stop to be weighed and recorded, so plan to pull up and wait your turn. The site is open, dusty and spread out - think dirt roads, compacted cells and visible working faces rather than tidy buildings. Trucks and trailers are common; commercial loads are accepted here, and tipping fees are charged by weight or load size rather than by item. Lines build up on weekends and during seasonal cleanups, so patience is part of the trip.
