Farmers and households both drop off loads here - trucks, trailers and pickups are a common sight. It’s basically where trash gets compacted and loaded onto bigger trucks headed elsewhere.
There’s a single entrance with a small booth and a weigh scale nearby; expect to stop at the booth before pulling into the yard. Pull up to the tipping area where larger bins or a pit sit; commercial roll-offs and compactors are usually in view. Semi trucks come and go hauling the compacted material away, so watch for traffic when backing trailers. Lines form on weekends and during spring cleanup, so plan for some wait time if it’s busy.
