Bluff Road Landfill, over on Bluff Road in Lincoln, is the large municipal landfill where city and commercial trash ends up. Neighbors and haulers bring loads that don’t fit curbside pickup. The place is big and active, with heavy equipment moving earth and compacted trash piles rising up like small hills.

The site is mostly open dirt and cover material, with designated tipping areas and heavy loaders working; watch for trucks coming and going. Pull up to a spot to dump or unload and spread loads out so they don’t tangle with debris. Lines form on weekends and during spring cleanup, so plan for a wait.
