Small, county-style solid waste site on Old U.S. 10 that folks from Park City and nearby ranches use for household trash, yard clippings and recycling. It feels like a typical Montana transfer station-pickups and trailers are common and traffic picks up on weekends.
Pull off Old U.S. 10 into a gravel approach and look for an entrance booth and a scale; plan to stop at the booth to report the load. Recycling bins and yard-waste piles are generally separate from the main tipping area, so drive slowly and follow the flow of traffic. Trailers often need to be backed into the tipping area and larger loads can take a few minutes to manage, so allow a little extra time. Weekends, especially during spring cleanup, can get backed up and slower than weekday runs.
