Drive up to an entrance booth and be prepared to stop at a scale so the load can be weighed; tipping fees are charged by weight and vary depending on load type. The site is large and open with working faces and heavy equipment moving around, so expect to drive slowly and follow posted traffic flow. Commercial vehicles are accepted, and there are usually separate traffic lanes for trucks versus smaller vehicles.

- Secure tarps and loose items before arriving; wind can blow debris easily on the exposed parts of the site.
