(573) 659-4583Republic Services Jefferson City Landfill is the large county landfill on the south side of Jefferson City where residential and commercial trash ends up buried. Local haulers and businesses use it regularly, and residents with large loads come through when smaller drop-off options won't work.
A scale house and weigh station are part of the entrance - vehicles typically stop to be weighed and then exit over the scale again, since tipping fees are set by weight. The site is visibly large with graded cells and compacted mounds; expect to see transfer trucks and end-dump trailers moving around. Pull up to the tipping area as directed by signage or traffic flow, then unload where directed and leave the way you entered, stopping at the scale if required on exit. The overall operation looks industrial rather than tidy, with dust and gravel roads common inside the property.
