(228) 818-5393This is the Waste Pro Applewhite Landfill/Recycling facility out on Beasley Road in Gautier, used mostly by local residents and small haulers dropping off recycling and bulky stuff. It’s the kind of place people swing by when the curbside pickup won’t take something or when a load of cardboard and cans needs to be diverted from the landfill. Expect practical, hands-on recycling rather than a polished drop-off like at a mall collection point.
Drive in off Beasley Road to a clearly visible entrance with a booth and traffic flow for trucks and cars; larger vehicles will share the same lanes as passenger cars. Recycling bins and roll-offs are usually grouped together close to the entrance area, with separate piles for common materials like paper, cardboard, metal, glass and mixed plastics. Many sites like this have a scale and weigh vehicles on the way in or out, so allow an extra minute for that and for any attendant directions. Weekends and spring cleanup days tend to be the busiest, so lines and waiting can happen.
