(651) 457-2778Republic Services Pine Bend Landfill is the big landfill out on 117th Street East in Inver Grove Heights, where most heavy or bulky trash ends up. Neighbors, contractors and commercial haulers all use this place for buried disposal - it’s the final stop for loads that can’t be handled at curbside.
Drive in and there’s a staffed entrance booth and a scale you’ll cross to get a weight ticket; they charge by weight, so expect to stop again on the way out for a second weigh-in. The site is large with long access roads and visible mounds of compacted material; many commercial semi-trucks come and go alongside smaller utility trailers. Pull up to the unloading area and follow staff directions or signage for where to dump - it’s not a tight turnaround, but trailers need room. In winter the roads and ramps can be slick and there are fewer frills than a transfer station, just the basics for paying and dumping.
