(952) 941-5174Small-scale transfer station in Eden Prairie that locals use when hauling a load too big for curbside pickup. Handy for residents who don't want to drive out to a distant landfill. It’s a working yard - not a public park - so expect the usual industrial feel.
Drive in and slow down for an entrance booth and a lane where trucks line up; there’s usually a scale somewhere near the entrance so expect a stop on the way out. The site has compacting bays and large roll-off areas, with trucks coming and going as loads get consolidated and sent off. In winter months parts of the drop-off are indoors or under cover, which helps when it’s cold and icy. Recycling or drop-off containers tend to be grouped off to one side, with signage and concrete aprons that make backing up easier.
