Recycling Center at 7 Indian Rd is the small-town spot people from Dudley and nearby towns use to drop off recyclables. It’s the kind of place hauled-to by residents clearing out basements or doing a household sort-through.
Pull up to a single lane entrance and there’s a little attendant booth near the driveway; expect to stop there for directions. The site is open-air with piles, roll-off containers and fixed bins clustered in a gravel yard, so bring sturdy shoes if planning to climb in and sort. The recycling stations are grouped by material - cardboard, mixed containers, metal - and are easy to spot just past the booth. Weekends, especially in spring, get backed up and vehicles often queue onto the road.

- Flatten boxes and bundle them; it makes the drop-off quicker and is easier on the crew who move materials.
- Separate glass from other recyclables and keep bags untied where possible so attendants (or signs) can see contents without breaking them open.
- Bring a tarp or a sheet to cover loose loads for the drive in; loose paper and debris scatter in the yard and on windy days.
