(651) 227-4457Mudek Trucking and J & J Recycling is a recycling center on Barge Channel Road that locals and small haulers use to drop off materials that don’t belong in the landfill. The place handles typical recycling loads and sees a mix of residential and commercial traffic on weekdays and weekends.
The site looks like an industrial yard near the river - expect concrete and gravel surfaces, piles or bins for different materials, and a clear drive-up area for unloading. In winter some parts of the operation may be indoors or sheltered, but much of the sorting and drop-off can still be outside, so plan for cold weather. There’s usually a clear flow: drive in, pull up to unload, and then exit; larger trucks share the same entrance as cars. Weekends and spring cleanup days can get busy, so a short wait in line is common.
