(866) 909-4458Pine Tree Acres Landfill is the big Waste Management site out on 29 Mile Road that people and businesses in Lenox use when trash has to be buried rather than recycled. Local residents and commercial haulers both bring loads here; it’s a large county-style landfill with heavy equipment and long access roads.
Drive past a guard/receipt booth and then over a scale - loads are typically weighed and charged by weight, so expect to stop twice. The site is open and spread out, with active tipping faces and large roll-off areas; trucks and compactors are common sights. Pull up to the instructed spot, unload where staff direct, then head back over the scale on exit. Lines can form on weekends and during spring cleanup, and the working areas are dusty and gravelly.
