(989) 879-3372Republic Services Whitefeather Landfill is the big landfill out on E Whitefeather Road that handles both household drop-offs and larger commercial hauls. Neighbors bring everything from pickup-truck loads to roll-offs, so it's a busy, no-frills kind of place. The site sits a ways off the main road and looks like a working industrial property more than a park.
There’s a drive-up entry with a weigh scale visible as you pull in - tipping fees are charged by weight or volume, so expect to stop on the scale twice. An entrance booth or gate controls access and directs you where to go; smaller residential loads usually head to the general tipping area while commercial trucks follow separate lanes. The landfill itself is mostly compacted cells and cover dirt, with piles and heavy machinery moving about; recycling or special-material drop-offs, if available, are typically located to the right of the main entrance. Lines can form during weekends and during spring cleanup, so the place can feel crowded and slow at times.
