(616) 837-8195Republic Services Ottawa County Farms Landfill is the big Republic landfill just outside Coopersville that handles local residential and commercial loads. Locals and haulers both use it when trash needs to be buried rather than recycled or returned for deposits. It’s the kind of place where big trucks are the norm and smaller trailers fit in alongside them.
The driveway leads to an entrance booth and a scale, and vehicles usually stop there to be weighed - expect to drive onto the scale and again on the way out. The site is large, with open tipping cells, piles of compacted material and heavy equipment moving about; visibility is wide but watch for big trucks. There’s a clear pull-up area for dumping and then a drive-away after tipping; traffic can back up at popular times, so anticipate some waiting. Tipping fees are charged by weight, and the facility accepts commercial loads as well as residential deliveries.
