It’s the place to bring loads that can’t be recycled or redeemed elsewhere, and it’s run at a fairly large scale compared with smaller transfer stations in the area.
Drive in to a staffed entrance booth and be ready to pull onto a scale for weighing; charges are typically based on weight so expect to stop again on the way out. After the scale there are dirt and gravel roads that lead to active tipping areas and large, compacted cells-watch for heavy equipment and big trucks. The site looks like open fields with layered berms and working faces rather than enclosed buildings, and commercial haulers are a common sight alongside pickup trucks and trailers.
