C&C Landfill on 14800 P Drive North in Marshall is the local dump where residents, contractors and farmers bring loads to be buried. It’s a working landfill rather than a transfer or recycling center, and like most landfills there are tipping fees-usually assessed by weight or volume, with commercial loads commonly charged at different rates.
The place looks industrial: dirt and gravel roads, piles or lined cells, and heavy equipment moving around. Expect to cross a scale and stop at a small scalehouse or booth for the weigh-in-many sites require a weigh-in on both entry and exit. After the scale there’s a short drive to the active tipping area where trucks back in and dump. Lines can form on weekends and during spring cleanup, so allow extra time.
