(978) 546-3578Small town transfer station used mainly by Rockport residents for dropping off household trash and recyclables. Drive up a short driveway to a manned entrance booth where attendants direct traffic; there’s a scale on site so expect to stop twice if they weigh vehicles entering and leaving. Recycling bins are set off to the side beyond the booth and sorting rules are enforced, since Massachusetts has strict recycling requirements. Weekends, especially in spring, get busy and there can be a line of cars waiting to pull in.
