800-963-4776Leominster Transfer Station is the town transfer station on New Lancaster Road where residents drop off household trash and recyclables for compaction and hauling out of town. Neighbors, landscapers and anyone with a car or small trailer use it - it’s the closer alternative to driving to a distant landfill.
There’s an entrance booth and a scale, so plan for a short stop to be weighed and processed. Traffic can back up on weekend mornings and during spring cleanup; larger trucks and compactors are visible on site. Recycling containers and roll-off areas are grouped together, and attendants will direct vehicles to the right unloading spot. Drivers should be ready to hop out and sort items at the edge of their vehicle before dumping.
