(508) 999-0740Dartmouth Public Works on Russells Mills Road is the town’s municipal drop-off for local residents hauling everyday household and yard material. Neighbors bring everything from small furniture to brush and bagged trash. It’s a plain, working site - not fancy, just where people go to get rid of things they can’t fit curbside.
Drive up to a small entrance booth where vehicles are usually checked before proceeding. There’s typically a scale here, so expect to stop again on the way out for weighing and payment. The site is mostly open asphalt and gravel with containers and piles toward the back; recycling and bulky items tend to be grouped off to the side or rear. Weekends get busy, especially during spring cleanup season, so lines can form.
