Massachusetts rules mean things usually need to be separated and certain items are banned, so come prepared to sort.
The site has the feel of a small municipal center: a single entrance lane with an entrance area where vehicles pause, then a cluster of large bins and containers a short drive in. The recycling bins are off to the right just past the entrance area, and larger items sit on separate pads or behind fencing. Weekends and spring cleanup times tend to be busiest, so there can be a line of cars waiting to pull up to the drop points.
