Windsor Land Fill is the town landfill on Ridge Road that locals use for household trash and disposal trips. People from Windsor and nearby towns bring full pickup loads, bags, and the odd bulky item here rather than hauling it farther away.
Drive up the long driveway off Ridge Road and you'll likely see the small entrance booth and a place to pull over before the tipping area. There’s a dirt-and-gravel yard with large compacted piles and a working face where trucks unload; expect some mud or dust depending on the season. Most vehicles pull up, stop at the booth area, then go to the drop point and drive away after tipping; there may be a scale or weigh station on site at many town landfills. In winter, the driveway and drop area can be icy or snow-packed so extra clearance and slow speeds help.
