(318) 925-2262Republic Services Woolworth Road Landfill is the big burial site outside Keithville where local trash and commercial loads go to be buried. Neighbors, landscapers, and haulers bring tonnage here; it’s the kind of place you visit when pickup won’t do. Expect a working, no-frills operation rather than anything tidy or scenic.
There’s a gate and an entrance booth to check in, and a scale you’ll cross on the way in and again on the way out since tipping is charged by weight. Haul trucks and roll-offs are common, so the yard feels busy and truck-forward rather than pedestrian-friendly. The site itself is large - wide dirt roads, compacting equipment, and long cells where material gets spread and covered. Because Louisiana sees heavy rains and hurricane prep, parts of the site can be muddy after storms and wet-weather procedures may change traffic flow.
