(270) 866-5900Russell County Transfer is the small transfer station off Clear Springs Road that locals use when hauling household trash or small loadouts that don’t make sense to take to a distant landfill. Farmers, handy folks doing cleanups, and anyone with a few bags or a trailer drop through here because the trucks compact and haul it on from this point.
Pull in on a paved drive and you’ll see an entrance booth and a scale area where trucks are weighed going in and out. There’s a yard with compactors and big collection bays; vehicles pull up, tip or hand things over to the bay, then turn back through the scale. Expect dump trucks and heavy equipment moving around, and a line on weekends or during spring cleanup season.
