Drive up to a single entrance where there is usually a booth or office to check in and directions on where to pull up. A large open yard with piles and roll-off containers is visible from the drive; vehicles are directed to drop-off points or a scale if one is on site. Bring the load ready to unload - there isn’t a showroom of sorting bins - and be prepared to stop again after unloading if the site uses a weighback system. Lines form on busy days, so there can be a wait to get through the gate.
