Locals, farmers and haulers bring everything here when smaller drop-off sites won’t take it. It's the kind of place where trucks and trailers are the norm rather than pickup beds.
Drive past a small entrance area and a scale house where trucks usually stop to be weighed; tipping fees are charged by weight rather than by item. The site is wide open with dirt roads, working faces and piles of compacted material, so expect heavy equipment moving around and tractors kicking up dust. After weighing in, drivers pull to a tipping area or cell to unload and then typically cross the scale again on the way out. Commercial loads are accepted here; this is not a curbside neighborhood drop-off.
