Pratt County Landfill on SE 10th Avenue is the county dump where locals take bigger loads that won't fit in the curbside can. Trucks, trailers and pickup loads show up here-residents and commercial haulers alike. Like most county landfills, tipping fees are charged by weight and commercial loads usually have different rates than small residential drops.
There’s an entrance booth and a scale near the gate; plan on stopping to be weighed and then stopping again when you leave. The driveway and tipping areas are gravel and can be dusty or muddy depending on the weather, with other trucks moving around. Pull up where other vehicles line up and watch for directions to the active dumping spot. It’s not pretty-think open dirt cells and piles-so drive carefully and secure loose trash.
