It’s the place that handles large-volume disposal where trash gets buried rather than recycled or processed. Drive up to a small entrance booth and be prepared to stop at a scale; charges are by weight so expect to weigh in and again on the way out. The working face and rows of compacted cells are visible from the pull-through area, with side roads and gravel surfaces leading to drop points. Recycling and special-drop bins are usually clustered near the entrance, while the main dumping is a short drive past the booth. Lines form on weekends and during spring fieldwork, so plan for waits during busy seasons.
